This week, we had the pleasure of hosting Jacob for a work experience placement here at Brown and Holmes (Derby) Ltd, giving him a behind-the-scenes look at the world of defence manufacturing.

During his time with us, Jacob explored the engineering and production processes that support critical defence technologies, gained valuable hands-on insights, and spent time with teams across the business — from design and development to quality assurance.

It was great to see Jacob bring enthusiasm, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. We’re proud to support opportunities like this and to help inspire the next generation of engineers and innovators.
